Ecomag srl,, in collaboration with its customers, has realised a lot of different types of testing systems in order to provide the best solution for different problems, companies and branches.

Automatic ultrasonic and eddy current testing system for the test of rotating steel tubes
Automatic ultrasonic and eddy current testing system for the non destructive offline test of rotating steel tubes (dimensional range: 50 – 230 mm).
The tube is rotating while the probe carriers are linearly moved along the axis of the tube to be tested.
This system is able to detect longitudinal and transversal defects, as well as holes, and to perform wall thickness measurements with high flexibility and high accuracy. These tests comply with the international directives.
Automatic ultrasonic and eddy current testing system for the test of steel bars
Automatic ultrasonic and eddy current testing system for the non destructive on-line test of steel bars (dimensional range: 10 – 60 mm).
Thy system detects external, inter-longitudinal and transversal defects whit an high transit speed. This is designed for tests with high restrictive test specifications.
Ultrasonic testing system for the test of wrist pins
Automatic ultrasonic testing system for the on-line test of wrist pins (dimensional range: 30 – 70 mm).
This system is characterised of an high productivity. It is possible to expand it by adding the Eddy Current technology for the inspection of defects on the external coating and the hardness selection.
X-ray testing system for the test of aerospace components
The system “Flat Panel” (amorphous silicon digital detector) detects the radiographic image.
The software for the digitalisation and handling of diagnostic images offers sensitivity performances similar to those of radiography. Moreover, it is characterised of a very speed representation time. Thanks to the digital system you can benefit from a good data management and filing.
Ultrasonic and Eddy Current testing system for the offline test of high pressure tubes.
Automatic testing system for the offline test of high pressure tubes (diameters: 80 – 250 mm). The system scans the internal surfaces of the tubes by using an Eddy Current Rotor with controlled movements.
The external surface is inspected by an Ultrasonic Probe Carrier, which is located on a moving trolley. Both the devices (UT and EC) create a recording with an test report in C-scan format (map of the defects).
Eddy Current testing system for the test of aircrafts wheel-hubs
Eddy Current Testing system for the test of wheel-hubs of aircrafts. This system is able to detect defects on the coating, the holes edges and on the pits of each kind of wheel-hubs with a diameter within 100 – 700 mm.
The system performs coloured C-scans and programmes storage and it is easy to use.
Ultrasonic and eddy current testing system for the test tubes, with a linear forward motion
Automatic ultrasonic and Eddy Current testing system for the on-line test of steel tubes (dimensional range: 50 – 170 mm).
The tube moves with a linear forward motion and the “battery- Group” of ultrasonic probes creates an ultrasound field which tests 100% of the tube surface and tube section.
The Eddy Current test is performed by a ring coil. This system detects longitudinal and transversal defects and performs wall thickness measurements with high flexibility and the highest test speed on the market.
Ultrasonic testing system for the full-body inspection of tubes, model TUB.EC.US – ECOMAG. With an ultrasonic testing traverse, for the “Full body” control of tubes.
In order to realise these systems we use different techniques, like:
